Homer was famously blind. The puzzle is a series of Greek letters arranged in a pattern that matches the Greek inscription in the Wheeler Hall lobby. Mostly, the letters don't match the letters of the inscription. However, marking which letters do correspond to the inscription will give a series of Braille letters (each formed on a 3 x 2 grid - clued by Homer's blindness) that read BUILDERS OF BERK WALL OUTSIDE DOE.
