Solution to In the Kitchen

This puzzle is a word search with some missing letters. Find the words given in the word bank, filling in the blanks as necessary. As you go along, you may notice that there are actually two classes of words. Words that are kinds of fish don't contribute the solution (they're red herrings). The other kitchen-related words provide more than enough information to fill in the blanks.

Once you're done, read the letters that you filled in left-to-right, top-to-bottom. This gives the clue phrase "FRENCH PHRASE ANSWER ET POIVRE". Since we're in the kitchen, the answer is SEL. If you step back, the unfilled image looks like the top of a salt shaker, reinforcing the answer.
