Solution to Is There a Doctor in the House?

By, and performed by, Drew Fisher

This was an interactive puzzle. Teams would be instructed to diagnose their ill TA by asking questions. Teams would quickly discover that the TA would give contradictory answers, and that these answers did not necessarily describe a single medical condition.

However, the answers did follow a pattern: each of the TA's replies would start with the next letter from the word LUPUS, cycling every five questions. The puzzle's title also hints at House M.D., a TV show which features a running gag where lupus is often proposed as the illness ailing a patient, but is never the patient's actual problem.
